In addition to these partnerships, we also are proud to offer the Good Food Doing Good Microgrant Program to support capacity building among small entrepreneurs and organizations.

Pass the Love w/ Waffles + Mochi:

The Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA), in collaboration with PHA Honorary Chair Michelle Obama and Higher Ground Productions, launched “Pass the Love w/ Waffles + Mochi” — a campaign inspired by the forthcoming debut of Waffles + Mochi on Netflix. Genuine Foods has been tapped by PHA to create Pass the Love branded, bundled meal boxes for families in food insecure communities around the country, with the goal to provide more than one million meals to families. Pigeon Town Community Fridge:

Made possible through a generous partnership with Lycée Français de la Nouvelle Orléans (at the Johnson Campus) and Okra Abbey Community Garden, this community fridge provides needed food supplies to neighborhood families, sometimes feeding up to an estimated 150 people a week. Genuine Foods is honored to be a part of this transformative project in the Pigeon Town neighborhood in New Orleans, providing nutritious ingredients and leftover meals from our school customers to stock the fridge. Additionally, Bubba's Produce Co. also makes ongoing sizable donations of imperfect fruits and vegetables, ensuring nutritious whole foods are available to the community. Read more »
