Until May 2023, families who could afford it paid for restaurant meals, leaving many students without daily access to nutritious food. In partnership with Genuine Foods, Cottonwood launched its first on-site meal program, bringing healthy breakfasts, hot lunches, and after-school snacks to every student. This launch is part of our broader mission to make scratch-made, USDA-compliant meals accessible to all K–12 students—regardless of zip code or family income.

Our kids are always eating fruit now, which is wonderful to see.

Salad bar, sandwiches, burritos, fruit, and quick breads meet nutrition standards but still feel like treats.

The people at Genuine really knew what they were doing. They had tested recipes kids liked... the employees in the kitchen work quickly.
